From Wayne in Shanghai

Greetings from Shanghai.

My flights from Adelaide to Shanghai were, for the most part, uneventful. Except of course the part where I almost missed my connection in Sydney, the crazy bitch I was sat next to the whole way to Shanghai and the part where Qantas lost my luggage. But here I am, on a hot a humid morning of Day three (with all of my luggage thankfully) and lots of energy for the big day ahead.

Yesterday, Jess and I walked all day from out hotel in the Luwan District along Huaihai Rd to the Peoples Square, on to the Bund and then back via the famous Nanjing Rd. After the occasional downpour and heat of the afternoon sun we braved the Shanghai underground to make the journey back to the hotel quicker and cooler.

We stumbled across an outdoor concert of sorts, which was fantastic and even found ourselves the subject of several photographers. I took some nice pics myself....

HAVING A BALL, but need some breakfast.
